7 February 2017: Expert meeting VVT by A+O fund
7 februari dr. Carla Peeters spoke at the expert meeting VVT by A+O fund about "How do I get healthy with employee participation in the healthcare sector". The A+O fund aspires to create a dialogue with experts to create new initiatives on sector level. This to provide solutions for the problem of rising absenteeism in VVT sector (= nursing homes, eldercare homes, retirement homes and home care). Also the fund researches, by questionnaires and regional meeting with employers and employees, how employees can stay healthy, energetic and competent at their job with a high job satisfaction.
2-3 February 2017: LAEGO congress
Dr. Carla Peeters speaker on the LAEGO two-day congress 2 -3 February 2017 on ‘The role of nourishment’ in the prevention of pressure ulcers in vulnerable elderly. The annual conference organized by LAEGO (National Advisory Primary Medicine for the Elderly) is specially for general practitioners and specialists in geriatric medicine.
